Job summary

Speedy Hire in Glasgow is seeking a Rail Engineer to join the depot-based team responsible for maintaining rail tools and equipment and ensuring service schedules stay up to date.

You will repair faulty rail gear, support colleagues and customers, and contribute to the ESG Strategy while delivering reliable hire services. The role emphasizes a 42-hour week, a strong focus on safety and continuous development.

Working Hours - Mon - Fri, 07:00 - 16:00 - 42 hours per week

Based in the depot, the Rail Engineer is a key role to Speedy's supply of rail tools and equipment; ensuring service schedules are up to date and repairing faulty rail equipment as necessary to ensure it remains available for hire.
