Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking an Engineer - TLS to oversee inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment across the region. You will work with depot engineers and coordinate with drivers and the hire desk to prioritise repairs and maintenance while upholding Speedy safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on testing/repair experience in hire equipment, a relevant NVQ/City & Guilds, and a flexible approach to hours.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in relevant discipline.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair plant hire equipment in the region.
• Ensure all work complies with Speedy safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, drivers and hire desk to prioritise repairs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Engineer - TLS to provide overall responsibility for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment in the region, ensuring that all work undertaken is safe and complies with Speedy safety standards. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working directly with other engineers in the depot and liaising regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance of plant equipment is prioritised effectively. What youll need: Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the, highest standard, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a

relevant discipline Technical/engineering background, is desirable Flexible approach to working hours Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.
