Job summary

The Insolvency Company, part of Monahans and the wider Sumer Group, is seeking an Insolvency Manager in Swindon. You will manage corporate insolvency cases from appointment to closure, lead junior team members, and build strong client relationships as part of a collaborative team.

You’ll oversee case progression, ensure deadlines, and contribute to business development while mentoring colleagues to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing corporate insolvency cases.
• Strong knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures.
• CPI, JIEB or other relevant qualifications advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations.
• Taking responsibility for progressing cases efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met.
• Reviewing and approving statutory reports, correspondence and case documentation.
• Acting as a key point of contact for directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders.
• Supporting Partners and Directors with more complex case work.
• Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver an excellent client experience.
• Assisting with business development activities and building professional networks.

Are you an experienced Insolvency professional looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for an Insolvency Manager to join The Insolvency Company, part of Monahans and the wider Sumer Group. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

You’ll play a key role in managing cases from appointment through to closure, supporting and developing junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations
• Taking responsibility for progressing cases efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• CPI, JIEB or other relevant insolvency qualifications would be advantageous, although not essential
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor others
