Job summary

The Insolvency Company, part of Monahans and the Sumer Group, is looking for an Insolvency Case Administrator in Swindon. You will manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases and work within a supportive team.

You’ll develop junior colleagues and maintain strong client relationships throughout the process. Responsibilities include administering CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations, preparing statutory documents, and ensuring regulatory compliance while keeping case records

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insolvency, restructuring or professional services beneficial.
• Good understanding of corporate insolvency procedures or willingness to learn.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with administration of corporate insolvency cases (CVLs, MVLs, administrations, liquidations).
• Prepare statutory documents, reports and correspondence per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate case records and up-to-date documentation.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors and stakeholders for information and updates.
• Assist with creditor claims, employee matters and case-related queries.
• Monitor deadlines and support milestones to be met.
• Handle day-to-day admin tasks including filing, banking and document management.
• Provide support to Managers and Directors on insolvency assignments.
• Contribute to process improvements and a positive client experience.

Are you an experienced Insolvency professional looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for a Case Administrator to join The Insolvency Company, part of Monahans and the wider Sumer Group. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

You’ll play a key role in managing cases from appointment through to closure, supporting and developing junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the team with the administration of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations
• Preparing statutory documents, reports and correspondence in line with regulatory requirements
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
• Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders to obtain information and provide updates
• Assisting with creditor claims, employee matters and general case-related queries
• Monitoring case deadlines and supporting the team to ensure key milestones are met
• Handling day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, banking and document management
• Providing support to Managers and Directors on a range of insolvency assignments
• Contributing to process improvements and helping deliver a positive client experience

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Previous experience in an insolvency, restructuring or professional services environment would be beneficial
• Good understanding of corporate insolvency procedures, or a willingness to learn
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a busy environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business systems
• A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support the wider team
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
