Working hours: 08:00 to 16:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:00 to 15:00 Friday

Role Overview

You will support the Inside Sales Department, managing all aspects of inside sales from initial enquiries to order completion. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential, as you'll collaborate across multiple departments.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone highly organized, self-motivated, capable of working independently, with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, evaluating enquiries and assessing technical and commercial requirements
  • Select appropriate products and prepare customer quotations using in-house software
  • Support customer service excellence and coordinate with External Sales Team and other departments
Requirements
  • Good understanding of engineering principles with some background in technical sales
  • Desirable: technical sales experience and knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles
  • Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQ or BTEC preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with SAGE200 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
