Job summary

Trimble is seeking an energetic Inside Sales Specialist to accelerate growth in the UK construction market from our Leeds office. You will convert qualified leads and sell Tekla Structures, Tedds, and Trimble Connect to small and mid-size construction firms.

With 1–2 years in phone-based sales or telesales, you will explain complex software simply, manage opportunities in Salesforce, and collaborate with Sales Engineers to deliver compelling product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of phone-based new customer acquisition or telesales experience.
• Ability to explain technical software concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce, for pipeline management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a structured sales approach.
• Bonus: construction/civil engineering knowledge.
• Bonus: SDR or customer success to quota-bearing software sales transition.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach existing clients to cultivate warm leads for software deals.
• Consult with decision-makers to sell value and ROI over features.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to deliver product demos that convert prospects.
• Prepare accurate quotes and identify up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Partner with the AECO sales team to share market insights and refine knowledge.
