Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance, and delivering exceptional results.

  • Focus on creating a caring environment where your team feels valued and supported, promoting a coaching culture within the management team.
  • Are dedicated to providing an excellent guest experience, ensuring every dish meets high standards, and empowering your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards in your kitchen, understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with your head chef on recruitment and development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

  • An experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience in maintaining high food, health, safety standards, and managing kitchen finances including GP and stock control.
  • Experience in managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.

  • A proactive problem solver, able to think on your feet.
