Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What you |

  • Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards, either through your efforts or by empowering your team.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, health, and safety, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions on your feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with consideration and care.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
