Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

What You Need To Do:

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the Head Chef to recruit and develop staff, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food, health, safety, and financial management.
