Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will coach and develop your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Need To Do:

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
