Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and ensure excellent results.

Responsibilities include |

  • Creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintaining food, health, and safety standards; managing financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Building a coaching culture within your team, involved in recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions on your feet.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to uphold high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of financial metrics like GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
