Job summary

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership seeks a Senior Technology Innovation Lead to head a four-person team, driving strategic tech initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies across the business.

You will translate technology strategy into actionable roadmaps, collaborate with risk and IT teams to ensure resilience, and govern innovation with a focus on security, compliance and value delivery.

Qualifications

A degree or equivalent experience in technology or related field.
Experience leading technology innovation initiatives in regulated environments is advantageous.
Ability to translate strategy into roadmaps and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of four with 121s and performance reviews.
Deliver innovation initiatives to improve efficiency and resilience.
Assess, pilot and adopt emerging technologies (AI/ML, Gen AI, automation).
Translate business technology strategy into actionable roadmaps with senior leadership.
Partner with risk, business and technology teams on resilient solutions.
Oversee governance, value realisation and risk management for new tech.
Report on the innovation pipeline with benefits, risks and delivery progress.
Drive a culture of efficient, technology-enabled ways of working.
Shape redesign and growth through technology aligned to objectives.
Ensure governance and operating model alignment for innovation activities.
