Job summary

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is seeking a Technology Risk and Control Lead to oversee the IT risk landscape across our estate. You will ensure information security, operational resilience and outsourcing controls meet FCA and ISO27001 expectations, coordinating audits and reporting risks to senior management.

The role requires experience in technology risk, governance and assurance within complex financial services, with strong stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Understanding of technology and infrastructure risk including information security, cloud, third party and resilience.
• Familiarity with FCA, ISO27001, outsourcing, and operational resilience requirements.
• Experience in technology risk, ICT governance, audit or assurance in demanding environments.
• Ability to produce risk reporting, MI and committee documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line technology risk oversight across IT infrastructure and risk controls.
• Bridge to second line risk, compliance and assurance; document, challenge and report risks.
• Evidence adherence to information security, operational resilience and outsourcing requirements.
• Coordinate internal/external audits from design evidence to remediation tracking.
• Report on technology risk, third party and cloud resilience; escalate when needed.
• Support senior technology leadership in meeting cyber and assurance standards.
