Job summary

Northern LGPS is seeking a Head of Technology to shape the multi-year technology vision, strengthen governance and resilience, and ensure secure, reliable technology services across its evolving organisation.

You will lead on strategy, governance, budget, and external partnerships to support long-term investment outcomes and operating capability for the organisation and its partner funds.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership experience in technology leadership roles.
• Experience with governance, risk, cybersecurity and operational resilience in regulated or semi-regulated environments.
• Proven track record overseeing complex technology projects and change portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead management of technology governance, risk, cybersecurity and operational resilience.
• Oversee technology change portfolios, ensuring delivery, benefits realisation and compliance.
• Drive innovation, digital transformation and automation to improve services and efficiency.
• Ensure reliability, performance and security of systems and infrastructure while managing budgets.
