Job summary

Harri is seeking a Night Porter for an overnight role in the United Kingdom. Shifts run from around 11pm to 7am on-site at various sites, with DBS check required as part of recruitment. You will welcome guests, handle late check-ins, and support front-of-house tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable stay.

You will often work independently, maintain high standards, and be ready to assist with breakfast area setup, cleaning tasks, and responding to guest enquiries or complaints.

• Demonstrates guest care and welcoming demeanour.
• Keeps high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all guests.
• Assist with front of house cleaning and setup as needed.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security at all times.
• Evacuate guests and staff safely in case of fire.
• Answer telephone enquiries and resolve guest complaints.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
