Mitchells & Butler PLC in Godalming is seeking an Overnight Night Porter to welcome guests, handle late check-ins, and support front of house tasks across breakfast areas. You will maintain a safe, clean environment and respond to guest inquiries to ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires independence for lone shifts, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills. DBS check is part of recruitment; full-time hours on site with variety in duties across the night shift.

Responsabilidades

• Be the first point of contact for late check-ins and walk-ins.
• Provide warm, friendly welcome to guests.
• Assist with front of house tasks and breakfast areas as needed.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security.
• Coordinate fire evacuation procedures when required.
• Answer phone inquiries and handle guest complaints to ensure a great stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly.
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
