Job summary

Mitchells & Butler's hospitality team is seeking a Night Porter for overnight shifts (11pm–7am on assigned sites). You will welcome late arrivals, handle walk-ins, maintain a safe and clean front-of-house environment, and support breakfast setup for the next day.

DBS check is part of the recruitment process. You will be expected to remain professional under pressure, work independently, and collaborate with the team to ensure guests have a comfortable stay.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests
• The role may include cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• Ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:
