Crg Tec is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of live infrastructure projects in the utilities sector. The role involves budgets, valuations, and cost control across several projects from £500k to £5m, with a supportive team and real ownership on site.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring cost accuracy, managing variations, and mitigating commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3/4).
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Comfortable collaborating with PMs, engineers and subcontractors.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Managing the commercial side of several live projects.
• Producing budgets, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
• Preparing valuations, applications and final accounts.
• Managing variations, additional works and compensation events.
• Supporting Project Managers with cost tracking and commercial risk.
• Reviewing contracts and identifying potential risks early.
• Working with clients and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues.
• Monitoring cost-to-complete and spotting risks and opportunities.
• Supporting tenders for upcoming projects.
