CETO Talent are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands-based commercial team on major infrastructure projects. The role covers infrastructure sectors such as rail, highways and utilities, with responsibility for cost control, commercial reporting and contract administration.

The successful candidate will own commercial activities across projects, interfacing with clients, contractors and project teams to drive successful delivery and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, highways, rail, utilities or major projects.
• Experience administering NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4).
• Experience assessing applications for payment, compensation events and change control.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within project teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional quantity surveying and commercial support across infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, submit and assess interim applications, valuations and payment recommendations.
• Assess, negotiate and agree variations, compensation events and change control.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Maintain commercial records, documentation and contract correspondence.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage contractual obligations, risks and opportunities.
• Manage commercial aspects of allocated work packages and subcontract accounts.
• Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and cost updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, tender evaluation and wider commercial improvement initiatives.
