Caval is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support a growing civil engineering contractor with a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working after probation and a salary in the £50k–£60k range, with a company car or car allowance and a performance bonus scheme.

The successful candidate will partner with operations to manage commercial delivery from inception to final account, ensuring projects stay financially sound while maintaining client relationships.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering.
• Experience with Environment Agency projects, flood alleviation, highways, drainage or RC frames is desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness and organizational skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple civil engineering projects.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and account reconciliation.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
• Support contract administration and ensure commercial compliance.
