Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Project Manager in Glasgow to join a hybrid team delivering infrastructure projects. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and drive the project through its lifecycle, ensuring cost, quality and schedule targets are met.

Role requires hands-on construction background, NEC4 contract experience, strong leadership, and stakeholder management. The role offers diverse benefits and a focus on safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects from delivery through commissioning.
• Experience with NEC4 contracts including change management.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for preparation, delivery and commissioning phases of infrastructure works.
• Provide project management capability and deliver project-specific objectives.
• Establish and maintain collaboration with team members and stakeholders to sustain momentum.
• Manage contract relationships with industry partners and suppliers, monitor quality, time, cost and reliability.
• Oversee project financials, budgets, reporting and forecasting.
• Support project assurance reviews and gateway evaluations to inform senior management and customers.
• Lead the project team in a High Performing Team ethos and ensure compliance with processes.
• Close contracts after delivery and ensure all financials and maintenance arrangements are in place.
• Monitor performance of technical providers and supply chain against contractual obligations.
• Review schedules, milestones and major phases to direct work and monitor progress.
• Develop overall budget and cash flow forecast, manage changes and cost controls.
• Provide accurate financial information and upgrade internal forecasting systems.
• Apply risk management knowledge to project decisions.
