Job summary

National Crime Agency is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team to support critical SOS systems and IT infrastructure across multiple UK sites.

You will work in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment managing Windows and Linux servers, Hyper-V/VMware, and container technologies, ensuring high availability of services and effective incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring and supporting Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience administering Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for SOS systems and assist 3rd line activities.
• Provision and install hardware, including servers and storage.
• Maintain system documentation and contribute to high/low level designs.
