Job summary

Peaple Talent is recruiting for Bristol-based client for 2 x Infrastructure Engineers. The role requires extensive 3rd line support experience across on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

You will support incidents, changes and requests in a large IT services team, acting as an escalation point. Key requirements include strong Azure knowledge, cloud networking experience, scripting abilities and solid virtualization expertise (VMware/Hyper-V).

Qualifications

• 3rd line support experience in an ITIL environment.
• Extensive knowledge of on-premise and cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong networking and virtualization knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support to internal and external end users in an ITIL environment.
• Oversee and manage the delivery of all platforms, hardware, OS and other core technologies.
• Work alongside a large IT services team to support incident, change, request and problem management requests.
• Act as an escalation point for the IT support team.

We are supporting a well-known, Bristol-based organisation to recruit for 2 x Infrastructure Engineers.

The successful candidate will have experience providing 3rd line support across a diverse technical landscape. You will have extensive understanding of on-premise and cloud infrastructure, networking and various platforms, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

The Role:

• Provide high-level technical support to internal and external end users in an ITIL environment.
• Oversee and manage the delivery of all platforms, hardware, OS and other core technologies.
• Work alongside a large IT services team to support a range of incident, change, request and problem management requests.
• Act as an escalation point for the IT support team.

The Candidate:

• Extensive knowledge of Azure
• Experience within cloud networking and implementing and managing internet services
• Understanding of scripting and automation tools
• Excellent knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware of Hyper‑V)

The Package:

• Base salary between £45,000-£60,000
• Performance-based bonus and profit share scheme
• Up to 8% pension contribution
