Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd in Manchester is seeking an infrastructure support specialist to join a flexible hybrid team. You will monitor cloud and on-premises environments, investigate incidents, and manage ticket lifecycles while aligning with ITIL practices.

The role covers Azure, VMware, Windows Server, and backup activities, with a focus on proactive monitoring, documentation, and knowledge sharing. A collaborative managed services context offers ongoing learning and progression into senior cloud

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure support, preferably in managed services.
• Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.
• Proficient Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage infrastructure alerts across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Manage ticket lifecycles through ITSM processes and SLA targets.
• Perform daily backup validation and support remediation activities.
• Support monthly patching across Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware estates.
• Assist with Azure and VMware VM administration and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in a shared on-call rota providing first-response support for critical incidents.

Salary: £30,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• Good experience in infrastructure support, ideally within a managed services environment
• Experience using monitoring tools and ITSM platforms
• Good Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments
• Understanding of backup technologies and operational support processes
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices
