Job summary

Searchability is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Birkenhead to own a broad Microsoft-focused infrastructure, including M365, Azure, Windows Server, AD, and Hyper-V. The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and gradually taking on cloud/DevOps initiatives within a small technical team.

You will contribute to disaster recovery planning, network security, backups, and future infrastructure projects, with strong emphasis on ownership and independent problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration experience.
• Microsoft Azure administration.
• Windows Server administration.
• Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Hyper-V and virtual machine management.
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and TCP/IP.
• Backup, recovery and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains broad infrastructure across Microsoft-focused environment.
• Investigates infrastructure issues and resolves problems end-to-end.
• Participates in future hosting and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Collaborates with development team on cloud and DevOps evolution.
