Job summary

Content Guru Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for our Bracknell head office to manage and maintain the development platform underpinning our multi-tenanted cloud services. You will oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerisation and orchestration, databases, monitoring and security/compliance, ensuring reliability and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant infrastructure or DevOps role.
• Familiarity with operating systems, cloud technologies and hardware.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of security principles and monitoring practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with zero-downtime deployment practices
• Provide hands-on support for operational issues and platform reliability
• Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines
• Develop proactive monitoring strategies and support security best practices
• Participate in incident response, threat simulation and operational runbooks
