Job summary

Content Guru is seeking a Software Developer for our Bracknell office to help build and maintain our application engineering solutions in C#, SQL, and modern web stacks. You will work in an Agile team to design, develop, test, and deploy features, collaborating with QA and DevOps to ensure robust, scalable cloud-based services.

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and React.js is a plus; we value proactive learners and problem solvers who can contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM, Computer Science or related subject.
• Good experience developing commercial projects in C#.
• Good experience in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience with source control (Git).
• Experience in Agile environments, Scrum.
• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS or equivalent security standards.
• Experience with .NET 5 or 6.
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Write code in appropriate languages, principally C#.
• Design architecture of new components and obtain sign-off for specs.
• Work in an Agile team to develop back-end applications and features.
• Thoroughly test new features to ensure correct behavior.
• Collaborate with QA to validate builds for deployment.
• Review and improve existing applications and processes.
