Job summary

Informed Solutions in the UK is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Corporate Technology Services team in Altrincham. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for ICT platforms, helping staff across the globe, and help shape how our technology evolves to improve user experience.

The role requires hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure and associated tools (Office 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, Purview) and a focus on ITIL and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience providing 1st and 2nd line incident, problem, and request support.
• Excellent communication skills with a user-centred mindset and collaborative approach.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud and desktop technologies (Office 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, Purview, Windows Server, Windows 11).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, proactive 1st/2nd line incident triage, investigation and resolution.
• Communicate status updates clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Perform 2nd line health checks and maintenance of core platforms (OS, email, anti-virus).
• Administer key systems including user accounts, email, networks, printers.
• Support delivery of larger infrastructure projects and improvements.
• Adhere to ITIL, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and Cyber Essentials Plus practices.
