Informed Solutions Limited in Altrincham is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Corporate Technology Services team. You will underpin our ICT platforms, shape how our technology evolves and improve the user experience for staff.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support, contribute to major projects, and align with ITIL, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards. UK travel to London, Edinburgh and Leeds is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience providing 1st and 2nd line Service Desk support.
• Excellent communication with a user-centred mindset and collaboration skills.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud and desktop tech including Office 365.
• Experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, Purview, Windows Server and Windows 11.
• Strong analysis, planning, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to be primarily office-based to support end users and travel to UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line logging, triage, investigation, and resolution of incidents and requests.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders about incident status and progress.
• Perform 2nd line health checks and proactive monitoring of core platforms.
• Administer key systems including user accounts, email, networks, and printers.
• Manage ICT assets and deploy end-user devices like laptops and phones.
• Apply ITIL, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and Cyber Essentials Plus practices.
• Support delivery of larger-scale infrastructure projects and initiatives.
