Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for infrastructure projects. The role requires extensive cost management experience, strong client-facing skills and the ability to lead project teams.

You will administer contracts, monitor costs and forecast performance, ensuring value engineering and governance compliance across major programmes. The ideal candidate has MRICS, NEC3 experience and a proven track record in cost control on rail, highway, ports or

Qualifications

MRICS qualification or equivalent professional membership.
Experience with NEC3 contracts, particularly Option C – Target Cost.
Post-contract administration experience on major programmes and infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
Strong cost management, forecasting and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Establish client relationships and maintain professional, proactive communication.
Administer contracts in line with project objectives and governance.
Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget.
Monitor cost variance, cash flow and timely payment applications.
Collaborate with client/contractor teams to deliver KPIs and project deliverables.
Lead teams and commissions, driving improvements in forecasting and budgets.
