Turner & Townsend is recruiting an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for prestigious infrastructure projects in Greater Manchester. You will bring extensive cost management experience to monitor, forecast and report costs to stay within budget.

Administering NEC3 contracts (Option C) and post-contract activities, you will lead teams, manage change, and drive forecast accuracy. MRICS is preferred; strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Cost / Commercial Management experience.
• MRICS (preferred).
• Experience with NEC3 contracts, especially Option C - Target Cost.
• Post-contract administration experience.
• Experience on major programmes and projects.
• Experience on infrastructure projects (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways).
• Experience leading and managing teams.

Responsabilités

• Establishing relationships with clients, colleagues and other involved parties.
• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget.
• Monitoring cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, and value engineering.
• Managing contract changes and governance; promote best practices.
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy.
• Providing sound commercial knowledge and stakeholder support.
• Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
