Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ cost or commercial management experience in infrastructure, transport or construction.
• Experience in Rail, Highway or Aviation sectors is advantageous.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and compensation events essential.
• Strong data analysis and ability to produce commercial documents.
• Excellent collaboration across multi‑disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support cost management across Rail, Highway and Aviation projects.
• Manage cost monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates and reports for decisions.
• Assist senior staff with small to medium‑scale commissions.
• Identify risks and commercial challenges and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with organisational procedures and risk controls.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and service innovation.
