Job summary

Arcadis, a global design, engineering and consultancy leader, seeks an Associate Cost Consultant to lead cost management on rail projects including HS2. You will guide a team, develop budgets, monitor performance and ensure contractual compliance, while building high-level client relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
CSCS card holder.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop team members to enhance cost management in the rail sector.
Create project costings and budgets for rail projects, managing finances to meet targets.
Lead cost management assignments ensuring delivery standards meet client expectations.
Demonstrate understanding of client objectives within the rail sector, especially cost management.
Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with cost control policies.
Assure compliance with contracts related to project delivery and cost management.
Analyse complex cost data and provide recommendations for decision-making.
Support development of cost and commercial management systems for rail projects.
Drive innovation in cost management to improve services and team contribution.
Build relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to create opportunities.
