Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Associate Cost Consultant to lead cost management on rail projects, including HS2. You will manage resources, budgets and client relationships to ensure delivery on time, within scope and to the required quality.

You will coach and develop teams, create project costings, monitor performance and drive improvements in cost control and commercial practices across rail assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Professional qualification or chartered status.
• CSCS card holder.
• Extensive experience delivering medium/large rail projects including HS2.
• Proven leadership in cost management roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop team members to enhance cost management service delivery in rail.
• Create project costings and budgets for rail projects, managing finances to meet targets.
• Lead and manage cost management assignments ensuring delivery standards meet client expectations.
• Demonstrate understanding of client objectives within rail, especially cost management.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with cost control policies.
• Assure compliance with contracts concerning project delivery and cost management.
• Analyse complex cost data and provide recommendations for project decisions.
• Support development of current cost and commercial management systems for rail projects.
• Drive innovation in cost management to improve services.
• Build valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders for satisfaction and opportunities.
