Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to join our Mobility Cost & Commercial team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering cost management across major Highway and Aviation programmes, with regular site‑based engagement (2–3 days per week) and close collaboration with contractors and client teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience delivering cost management across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and application of contract mechanisms.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and leading teams.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management with clients, contractors and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver cost management activities across Highway, Rail or Aviation programmes.
• Prepare, manage and present cost plans, budgets and financial reports.
• Review complex commercial data to identify risks, opportunities and trends and provide recommendations.
• Coach and develop junior team members to maintain high delivery standards.
• Operate within governance and financial systems to track budgets and manage variances.
• Provide advice on risk, compliance and assurance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Engage proactively with clients and promote value and strong relationships.
