Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager to support infrastructure projects. The role focuses on cost management, commercial oversight, and strong client collaboration across major programmes.

You will lead contract administration, monitor budgets and forecast costs, and drive value engineering with project teams. Strong leadership and MRICS NEC3 experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven Cost / Commercial Management experience.
• MRICS NEC3 contracts (Option C) experience preferred.
• Post contract administration experience.
• Experience on Major Programmes and Projects.
• Experience on Infrastructure projects (Rail, air, marine/ports, utilities or highways).
• Experience in leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Establishing professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in projects.
• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget.
• Monitoring cost variance and cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams on programme performance and value engineering.
• Managing contract change to stay within governance and best practice.
• Driving forecast and budget accuracy improvements.
• Providing sound commercial knowledge to stakeholders.
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
