Job Description:

IT Service Analyst – Sheffield – £25 – 28K

An established client of ours in the Technology sector is looking for a Service Analyst to join their internal IT department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide 1st line technical support, incident management, and service request handling. Responsibilities include ticket logging and resolution, issue investigation, and providing first-time fix support for unlocks, advice, and guidance.

This is an office-based role in their Sheffield office.

• Provide technical support and resolution for all incidents reported across the group.
• Ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved within the timescales defined in the SLA.
• Communicate and notify users about service outages, liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
• Have knowledge and experience of Windows Server 2016 and above, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration including Intune, and Laptop/Desktop installation.
• Carry out daily IT support and handover tasks as required.
• Participate in a rota to ensure Service Desk coverage during support hours.
• Identify and resolve common first-line hardware faults and problems.
• Escalate faults to higher support levels or third-party suppliers as needed.
