Information Technology Service Delivery Manager

IT Service Delivery Manager - Contract Role - Energy Industry - Inside IR35

An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Service Manager at a leading energy company. As the IT Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end IT services, ensuring they are integrated and operating efficiently across multiple vendors. You'll lead on ITIL-based processes, supplier governance, and continuous service improvement to support business and industry needs.

Location: London - Hybrid - Must be onsite twice a week

Duration: 6 months

Daily rate: Competitive INSIDE IR35

What You’ll Do:

• Make sure IT services meet agreed performance levels
• Manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Lead on handling major incidents and support out-of-hours if needed
• Look for ways to improve how we deliver IT services
• Ensure we follow data protection and internal rules
• Keep track of risks and help plan for outages or emergencies
• Keep everyone updated on how services are performing

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong background in IT Service Management within multi-vendor environments
• Proven experience managing service providers to agreed SLAs
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework and processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
• Familiarity with the UK energy market or Ofgem regulations
• Awareness of cybersecurity and risk management in IT services
