Technology Assurance Analyst

As part of the Controls Assurance team, you will conduct reviews of critical business processes and technology projects. Your role involves assessing business risks, especially within the change portfolio, and providing insights to improve the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead assessments of tech platforms, applications, and infrastructure in a trading environment.
2. Collaborate with developers and engineers to understand the technical landscape with a focus on risk.
3. Perform risk evaluations and assurance work on engineering functions.
4. Use creative testing strategies to generate data-driven insights.
5. Incorporate data throughout the review process, from planning to reporting.
6. Present risk findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders concisely.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or higher in Computer Science or similar.
2. Understanding of modern software development practices like Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
3. Experience in risk, audit, or assurance roles within financial services.
4. Ability to operate confidently in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
5. Proficient with datasets and problem-solving using a structured approach.
6. Knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Python is a plus.
