Job summary

LOROS is seeking an experienced Information Governance Lead to provide expert leadership on information governance, data protection and compliance across the organisation. Acting as the named Data Protection Officer (DPO), you will ensure compliance with UK GDPR and related legislation while supporting the safe and effective use of information throughout the Hospice.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources, this role will lead on data protection policies, manage information governance

Responsibilities

• Lead on information governance policies and data protection practices across the organisation.
• Manage information governance risks and privacy considerations.
• Coordinate data handling for subject access requests and GDPR breaches.
• Oversee the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission.
• Deliver training and advice to colleagues at all levels.
