Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Work Placement Engagement Officer in Mansfield to ensure students complete meaningful work placements, including extended or industry placements, within the Creative and Digital curriculum area.

The role requires engaging employers, matching students to placements, and contributing to placement targets across study programmes. Travel to employer sites and events will be involved as part of delivering employer engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage employers to maintain and increase student work placements
• Match students to appropriate placements and upskill to industry placements
• Develop and deliver resources to prepare students for work placement
• Ensure health and safety training and risk assessment paperwork is completed
• Travel to conduct risk assessments and attend employer appointments and events
• Embed the college values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Ambition and Compassion
