Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a proactive Work Placement & Experience Officer in Northampton to coordinate high-quality industry placements within the construction sector. You will build strong employer relationships, manage placement logistics and ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance for every opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in or with the construction sector is beneficial.
• Experience engaging and building relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills are required.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 or equivalent.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing work experience, industry placements and work-based learning opportunities.
• Building relationships with construction employers and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinating employer engagement activities, including careers talks and interview preparation sessions.
• Ensuring placements meet safeguarding, health and safety and compliance requirements.
• Carrying out employer reviews and placement monitoring activities.
• Supporting students to prepare for placements and ensuring all documentation is completed.
• Maintaining accurate placement records and updating CRM systems.
• Working closely with curriculum teams to identify suitable placement opportunities.
• Responding to enquiries from employers, students, parents and colleagues.
• Providing feedback to curriculum staff on placement outcomes and employer engagement activities.
• Assisting with audits, inspections and quality assurance.
