Job summary

RNN Group in Rotherham is seeking a Work Placement Officer to source high-quality placements and build a central hub of opportunities across our group. You will collaborate with curriculum teams to schedule meaningful placements and partner with Business Development to strengthen employer relationships.

You will empower students with guidance to succeed, ensuring safe, compliant placements aligned with the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience in FE, Post-16 education, or youth environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and Health & Safety at Work Act.

Responsibilities

• Empower students by connecting them with worthwhile placement opportunities through our centralised platform.
• Build employer links by collaborating with Business Development to expand the local network.
• Ensure student safety through placement reviews ensuring safe, healthy environments in line with HSE standards.
• Collaborate with tutors, curriculum managers and student support teams to embed placements into the academic year.
