Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Industrialisation Engineer – Manufacturing to design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for power electronics in global HVDC projects.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements within a fast-paced team, leading cross-functional efforts from process development to equipment commissioning. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, experience with automated assembly/test equipment, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly and test knowledge.
• Experience with automated assembly and test equipment.
• Experience in maintenance strategy, TPM, OEE or reliability improvement activities.
• Experience with PFMEA and Design for Manufacture.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialisation of new products and product changes into manufacturing.
• Coordinate the implementation of new designs, variants and process changes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.
• Capture manufacturing requirements to support procurement of production and material handling equipment.
• Define and develop manufacturing build strategies with engineering teams.
• Specify, design, purchase, install and commission manufacturing equipment.
• Lead manufacturing projects from conception to completion; manage timelines and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and supply chain to resolve issues and meet milestones.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and risk assessments.
• Support the setup of manufacturing business systems (QMS, LMS).
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste and improve process performance.
