Responsibilities

  • Implement equipment and process changes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Provide first-line engineering support for equipment breakdowns and production issues.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with calibration and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Train and support production operators in the correct use of equipment and processes.
  • Work with equipment suppliers to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Support manufacturing IT systems and provide first-line support during downtime.
  • Create and update work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability.

  • Education, HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
  • Understanding of manufacturing IT systems integration.
  • Experience with Desoutter tooling, advanced manufacturing methods, and ISO standards.
  • SAP and Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with HVDC product assembly processes advantage.
