Job summary

Major Energy Onshore is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Executive to drive new business development for a range of engineering products and services. The role emphasises identifying customer needs, owning the commercial process from first contact through to proposal, negotiation and handover.

You will sell technical products, services, equipment hire and broader solutions to industrial customers, with office-based work and client visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience in engineering, manufacturing, technical equipment, instrumentation or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer needs.
• Experience managing own workload and following up opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers through structured prospecting.
• Grow and protect existing customer relationships.
• Reactivate dormant accounts and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, demonstrations and presentations.
• Prepare and follow up quotations and proposals.
• Manage sales pipeline, CRM activity and forecasts.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues to tailor customer solutions.
