Job Title: Wastewater Maintenance Technician

Salary: circa GBP34,000 rising with experience + standby + overtime

Benefits: All PPE, tools, van, and fuel card provided

Work Schedule: Full-time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends

Location: Tilbury, Dagenham, Basildon, Chelmsford, Essex - ideally within 45 minutes' drive to Tilbury and Brentwood

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and communities? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, responsible for repairs, fault investigation, and scheduled maintenance to ensure asset reliability. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to protect the environment.

Supported by a collaborative team, you'll develop experience with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment, instrumentation, inverters, and small-scale domestic work. Experience with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance is advantageous.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:

• An NVQ Level 2 (mechanical) or Level 3 (electrical) qualification (or equivalent)
• Completed a relevant apprenticeship
• A full UK driving licence
