Job Title: Wastewater Maintenance Technician

Salary: circa £34,000 rising with experience + standby + overtime

Benefits: All PPE, tools, van and fuel card provided

Employment Type: Full time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends. Permanent position.

Location: Tilbury, Dagenham, Basildon, Chelmsford, Essex - ideally within a 45-minute drive to Tilbury and Brentwood.

Role Responsibilities

Carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults, and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure asset reliability. This role involves working with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment, instrumentation, inverters, and some small-scale domestic work. Experience with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance is advantageous.

Candidate Requirements

NVQ Level 2 (mechanical) or Level 3 (electrical) qualification (or equivalent), relevant apprenticeship, and a full UK driving licence.
