Finning (UK) Ltd, the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer, seeks a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in the Industrial Engines division across the UK. You will identify opportunities, re-engage dormant accounts, and deliver powered solutions through Caterpillar’s engine range.

You will open doors with decision makers, build long-term partnerships, and contribute to market expansion while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management within industrial engines or related sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and growth targets.
• Experience building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior decision makers.
• Understanding of B2B sales processes and complex sales cycles.
• Knowledge of industrial engine applications would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue and market share growth across the Cat Industrial Engines portfolio.
• Identify, engage, and convert new customers while reactivating and developing underutilised accounts.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, engineering businesses, and key industry stakeholders.
• Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and face-to-face meetings across the UK.
• Collaborate with Finning sales teams to identify opportunities within existing customer portfolios.
• Work closely with engineering, commercial, supply chain, and product support teams to deliver best-in-class customer solutions.
• Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Finning and Caterpillar at customer events, exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking activities.
• Support new product introductions and market expansion initiatives through customer insight and commercial expertise.
