Finning (UK) Ltd, the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in our Industrial Engines division across the UK. You will identify new opportunities, reactivate dormant accounts, and build long-term relationships with OEMs and manufacturers, delivering innovative power solutions and shaping market share.

Competenze

• 5+ years in business development, sales or account management within industrial engines or power systems.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing accounts.
• Strong ability to influence senior decision makers and build long-term relationships.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue and market share growth across the Cat Industrial Engines portfolio.
• Identify, engage, and convert new customers while reactivating underutilised accounts.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, engineering businesses, and key industry stakeholders.
• Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and face‑to‑face meetings across the UK.
• Collaborate with Finning sales teams to identify opportunities within existing customer portfolios.
• Work closely with engineering, commercial, supply chain, and product support teams to deliver best‑in‑class customer solutions.
• Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Finning and Caterpillar at customer events, exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking activities.
• Support new product introductions and market expansion initiatives through customer insight and commercial expertise.
